Upcoming World Premiere – New Work by J. Mark Stambaugh

I am honored to collaborate with acclaimed American composer Dr. J. Mark Stambaugh on the world premiere of a new work for saxophone and piano, written especially for me. Inspired by George Gershwin’s Songbook, the composition is conceived as five variation movements, each based on a different Gershwin tune, and reflects the composer’s focus on lyricism and expressive storytelling. The work is currently in progress and is scheduled to receive its world premiere at the Manhattan School of Music Composition Faculty Concert in November 2026.
